so im almost done with my research paper for my last class and felt like posting on tumblr.  Heard this song on the radio the other day and felt like sharing.  No meaning behind it just nice and chill. knaw meeeean? lol… anyways leaving for hawaii in about 5 hours and i am absolutely wired…

so the question is how are YOU gonna spend your vacation??

no shades of gray

BACKSTORY: I don’t go to the same church as my parents anymore [they don’t know].  I go to a non-denominational Christian church and I usually catch the service online. My parents are religously devout so any rifts in terms of church and religon would be unacceptable. Our morning conversation:

mom: are you going to church?

me: no, I have to do some work for school.

mom: what?! you need to get your priorities straight.

me:[absolutely livid… walks away]

So here is my question… Am I wrong for wanting to stay home to do homework and not going to their church?

Wowowee

So everytime I wake up the morning and even when I leave at night, and EVEN when I come home from school my parents are stuck on the tv watching wowowee. I dont think i have even watched a full episode of wowowee but i pretty much know all the songs on their because i hear it 24/7. And tonight as they watched wowowee, I’m like dont you guys ever get tired of this show?! It’s the same thing all the time. Same songs! And they’re like, “noooo dis is our show… Dey interBiew pePole” with their fob accents coming out. I stand there. Shaking my head. And say goodbye as I leave for dance practice with Hep Hep Hoorayy (fob accents again) in the background.

haha thats too funny cuz that is EXACTLY what my parents do too dude. Every night they fall asleep to it.  My mom and her sisters were even on the show and got interviewed by Willy haha.  I think our parents should meet. jk

“If you have 20/20 vision, it means that when you stand 20 feet away from the eye chart you can see what the “normal” human being can see.

If you have 20/40 vision, it means that when you stand 20 feet away from the chart you can see what a normal human can see when standing 40 feet from the chart. That is, if there is a normal person standing 40 feet away from the chart and you are standing only 20 feet away from it, you and the normal person can see the same detail. 20/100 means that when you stand 20 feet from the chart you can see what a normal person standing 100 feet away can see. 20/200 is the cutoff for legal blindness in the United States.

However, a person with 20/10 vision can see at 20 feet what a normal person can see when standing 10 feet away from the chart. Something that has 20-2 vision can see at 20 feet that a normal person can see at only 2 feet.”

Hence 20-2 hindsight.
